I came to Japan in 1992 for two reasons – to teach English and to do karate. I love both. After 20 plus years of karate I have retired from active training, but I still teach some on the side. Now, I design marvelous karate, and other martial arts experiences. As someone who has spent a lot of time on the dojo floor I know what is “the real deal”, so that is where we put our clients – not in harm’s way, but to enjoy and celebrate true martial arts experiences. We have an amazing selection for people who are practitioners themselves, or who just would love a chance to try something REALLY Japanese – like a martial art! We love that enthusiasm and so do the various masters in different disciplines who deeply enjoy sharing some of the essence of their culture with overseas visitors. Karate, Judo, Kendo, Shorinji-Kempo, Iaido, and Kyudo Archery available.
